Whether you realize it or not, you are inherently a spiritual being - we all are. We often get caught up in the day-to-day challenges of life and can often forget that the real reason for us being alive is to understand the very essence of who we are. It is not really about cars or handbags, houses or jobs or the daily issues we face in living in a fast-moving and complex world. But wait, IT IS about all of that as well, isn't it?
Our daily lives in this day-and-age are so busy and full of challenges that it is easy to lose sight of what is important. Surely we can't be expected to forego commitments to our family, our friends, our jobs, or our lives, even, in search of some bigger meaning? ABSOLUTELY NOT! Your spiritual being is manifest in this life as someone who is connected with those around you with an absolute responsibility to make the most of everything that is put in front of you. You are MEANT to face challenges in your life - it is an integral part in your spiritual development and part of a bigger plan for you that you may never be fully aware of in this lifetime.
But some challenges are tough. And some extreme ones can test us to the core of our being. But I firmly believe the universe will never put a challenge in front of us that we cannot handle. Some of these challenges we might ultimately be able to handle on our own. For some others that are a bit harder to crack, we often need some support, advice or help from other people and it is our absolute right to expect that the right people are out there to help us through.
Through my own tough times, I learned to place my faith in something bigger than myself and discovered the loving support of what I consider to be my guardian angels. I believe that every living being truly has a guardian angel looking out for them and we need simply to accept that these wonderful beings are there for us and that each of us truly deserves their help in guiding us through life.
